one word: Dutch!

No! In fact this idea is quite possible. With the expertise we have with oil platforms and self-propelled cranes on barges, she should be fully possible to build. If you had to land large aircraft on her, then you have to have the deck led to several models to smooth out all the movements of those barges. I will say that she can not have large aircraft thanthose ones you have on her now!

so she is possible, but what kind of tactical advantage do you get. If you plan to perform a D - day Well ...

If you're gonna go that big, you might as well give yourself a taller control tower (effectively extending its range) and a longer-range SAM system (possibly a shore-based one)

Patriots would be an interesting proposition.

Huh. That's amusing. I don't think the giant 2D radars will be able to rotate!

You should be proud of resisting the urge to fit giant phased arrays and masses of VLS. It is a strong temptation...

I'll make the island tower somewhat higher, and I'll take a look at the 2D radar. I'll chech if I can fit Patriots (Anyone know the latest version)
