So the story of the fast battleship design continues in 1918 and 1919. The two are identical except for the secondary battery. Both have 10 six inch guns in superstructure mounted casmates. The 1918 have an additional 8 six inch guns mounted above the casemates ala Lexington. The 1918 design has four 3 inch AA guns mounted besides the funnel. The 1919 design trades away all the deck mounted 6 inch guns for six 3 inch AA guns. The superstructure is based on parts from the Tennessee, Colorado and Lexington without being identical to either one. The ship has two funnels that are larger than the Tennessee/Colorado, but smaller than the Lexington. The ship has 8 16"/45 guns from the Colorado. The powerplant is the same as the Lexington, but fewer boilers to fit a much smaller size. Overall, the ship has a top speed of 26,5 kts, enough to keep up wieht the Japanese Nagato class. The design is in no way related to the 1914 and 1916 fast battleships, but experienced learned was incorporated into a completely new design.

Triple 14". I think the turrets came off an old parts sheet, and I might've modified them to look the way I wanted.

The turrets are too small to be 16 inch guns. My fast battleship design above has twin 16 inch guns, you can clearly see the size differance. The 16 inch guns are 45 calibers long, the 14 inch guns are 50 calibers long. That means they are both about the same length.

I have been fiddling with the hull of the proposed battleship "possible" and turned it into the battlecruiser "possible." I changed a few things on the bow and the stern. Gave her a more New Mexico esqe bridge. She has the same arnament as the New Mexico class. The ship is supposed to look as un-American as possible, while looking American at the same time.

Very nice work Karle! Definitely gives off "mixed signals" about her design lineage. I especially like the lines of her hull. Very majestic for a US ship.

One nitpick that i realized I've overlooked on the BC possible: that motor personnel boat you've got, did not enter service till 1926/27, so, what is the year of your BC?

I think, maybe you should consider replacing it with a steam cutter, which, due to its weight and size would not be stackable
