I always thought Naval Infantry is the proper translation of Marineinfanterie, with Marines being a more colloquial term in english speaking countries.

But if it's conflicting I change it into Imperial German Army Marine Command (Marineinfanteriekommando des Kaiserlichen Deutschen Heeres).

Steyr Lkw 2,5 t tmil Typ 2

At the beginning of the 1980s the Reichswehr decided to replace their aging 2.5 ton and 5 ton trucks. In 1984 the contract went to South-German truck manufacturer Steyr, and in 1986 the first new trucks were deliverd to the Army.
Together with Büssing and Magirus-Deutz, Steyr produced 15,000 2.5 ton, and 30,000 5 ton trucks, which by 1998 had replaced all of the older M35 an M39 based trucks.
Today the Lkw 2,5 t tmil Typ 2 is used by all branches of the Reichswehr, including the Coast Guard.

Naval Infantry is a personally valid translation and it's in line with how most European countries use it. It also fits well with the fact that these are army troops, in what I assume is a similar arrangement as the French Troupes de Marine

Exactly.
Within my AU the Naval Infantry was part of the Navy until the end of the Great War in 1946, but became part of the Army with the rearmarment and reorganisation in 1951.

Naval infanty is part of Navy not Army. Marines can be part of Army (China) or part of Navy (US-GB) Germany had special units of Navy infantry, the Seebataillon and then Marinekorps, they both ware under command of Navy.
