It would be fun to see the DC-9 in today's SAS livery. But great work.

Thanks for all kind words! :)

And here's another update.

Junkers F-13 and G-23 were among most important airliners of the early 1920s (perhaps were even the most important airliners of the era). Unfortunately it seems that sources for their paint schemes are in relatively short supply (I found several more, but very few, considering these planes' ubiquity).

Germany (Bolivia, Iran, Finland, Poland, Russia, Switzerland) Junkers F-13

Boeing 314 “Clipper”
Back in 1939 PanAm’s “Clippers” had a similar position like the Concorde, being the means of transportation for the few who could afford the price of a car just to travel faster than the others. In fact, at about 300 km/h the “Clipper” wasn’t really fast (Southampton - New York in 24 hours), she was more like a fine hotel with wings. 74 passenger seats which could be transformed into 40 bunks, a lounge, meals prepared by cooks coming from 4-star hotels and individual bathrooms for ladies and gentlemen. In fact, this kind of transatlantic air travel was offered only for three (3) months in 1939, but its luxury wasn’t topped ever since.
Price for a flight from New-York to Southampton: US-$ 675, which equalled US-$ 7.000 in the year 2000. (thank you, Google)

Thanks, Imperialist, and same to you for your work.

@Eswube
Do you know if there's an Udet Flamingo around? Couldn't find her, but you never know...
