does somebody have pictures, drawings or plans of CIC's of carriers or other ships in the command role? I want to design some for my ships, but I have no idea where to start with them. thanks in advance.......
For WWII era, take a look at http://www.ibiblio.org/hyperwar/USN/ref ... CIC-5.html

The AGC was a dedicated command ship, and thus had a fairly extensive CIC.

The CG-47 CIC maintains that basic layout even now on the Cruiser Mod ships, except where one of the consoles is marked "SSWC" is now some Tomahawk consoles, and the Sonar Shack is also laid out differently.

Your second drawing is the layout of a Burke, FAS is wrong. The entrance is on the port side, 2 large screen displays, 3 ADS consoles, one GFCS console... yep that's a Burke.
