This is what I have for now. are still working on it, but I think it's more important for me to finish off some real world drawings.
This: viewtopic.php?f=15&t=4018

;-)
I had that topic stopped and closed since people starting to spam me to draw everything... and I only did want to draw 5 ships.

But I shall see if I can draw you'rs soon. But first I have some real world drawings to do.

If you're using the TK's main guns, why not use her main director as well?

I'll think it's a very good idea to give Rodondo this task. I'll suggest this one:

Maybe in the real world Norwegian standard badge frame?

http://forsvaret.no/om-forsvaret/fakta- ... melser.pdf (.pdf warning)

On page 25 of that PDF, you can find an overview of the Royal Norwegian Navy's current crests. As you can see, HNoMS ULA already have the crest with the motive you wish to use.

Fun fact: The use of the Norwegian Royal Lion for her crest was granted by HM King Haakon VII in 1943 after the CO of ULA requested permission to use the lion following the loss of HNoMS UREDD, in order to show the Germans that the Norwegian lion was still fighting. Given the outstanding record ULA held, the King granted them this unheard of honour. To this day, any Norwegian submarine bearing the honourable name ULA retains that honour.

Fitting a mine deck is a bad idea unless you want to turn her into an actual minelaying cruiser, in which case everything aft of the engines will have to be redesigned in order to accommodate a useful load of mines.
