Now some vehicles, the Tiger Family of Armoured Amphibious Vehicles(AU). Developed in late 1970's,the Tigers are also in service in Cyprus.First seen in Defensys 1980 exchibition, entered service in 1982 (4X4),followed by the 6X6 in 1988. Police variant (Tiger-P) entered service in 1990 and 8X8 in 1994.

Construction :Monocoque steel frame,bulletproof front windows.Tiger-P has wired window protection against throwned stones and twin opening wired frames (feature copied from Yugoslavian BOV)
Suspension : Independent all round with internal transverse shock absorbers and coil springs activated with rods (known as "F1" suspension)
Fuel capacity : 2 X 220 lt (taken from Steyr 680 series)
Range : 1060 km (road,80kph)
Water propulsion : twin waterjets (also assistance by turning wheels)
Number built : 780 4X4, plus 200 Tiger-P, 400 6X6,240 8X8 (HLK), 400 (Akamas/Akamas-P, Cypriot built variant)
Note 1: E-105 Anti-Tank missile was co-developed with Israel, is similar with LAHAT and the AGL E-40H is a reverse engineered Mk19. Some Tiger have HK GMG instead of the E-40AGL.
Note 2:The Tiger 8X8/105 has a crew of 4 without passenger seats.Together with the AMOS variant, is not amphibious due to increased weight.
