As I could find no evidence of what the prop should look like on the actual ship, I just took a stab in the dark and picked one that looked about the right size. I believe the technical term for that is W.A.G.

When you say there are black pixels around the radomes, you aren't referring to the border are you? I thought it was supposed to be black. I did a background check around the radomes and it went solid right up to it. As for the differing shades on each radome, the forward one I have a lighter shade because it just represents the seams, while on the aft one, the real one has those very pronounced panels you can actually see, so I made the color of the grey a bit darker to represent that. look at the pic lazer_one took of her in port, you can see the difference between the forward and aft radomes, and thats what I was trying to represent.

I've had a close look at the photo (page 2 I think) and come up with this result. I've done nothing above the thick black waterline (which is now very dark grey except for the one pixel thick waterline), only the underwaterhull is fixed (and cleaned for pixel errors!). So if you like it, it's yours

ZypherI appologize for not being clear. I have no issue with the panel coloration that you've picked, and the only change I would make other than the ones I've IDed below is that I would make the faces on the forward geodesic dome either all shaded or all white. I've enlarged the domes and made pink the pixels that are in need of fixing. These are the ones that I think need to be fixed, some need to be white, some black, some shaded dome color, and some panel line grey (on both).

You've got a lot good, it just needs some cleanup.

I think it's because you might have a monitor that only runs at 18 bits (6 per color) rather than 24 bit (8 per color, the high end PNGs and for most non-medical applications). There is a strong chance that on your monitor you might not be able to see the wrong pixels with just the Mark-1 Eyeball.

I actually have this problem when I do work on my primary and secondary displays. My Primary is 24 bit and the secondary is 18, so what looks the same on the secondary doesn't always look the same on the primary.

Nothing wrong with this, just something to keep in mind going forward.

not sure about the bits of the moniter (I think it is .24mm dot pitch, whatever that is), but I'm pretty sure the bifocals don't help matters much.

I'm in agreement: that there isn't much now to correct - and yes, the lower hull is just a case of seeing how others do it (we all do that) Anyway's, nice to see it coming along, and .....Pongo? RN terminology for army - so Squid returns the compliment
