I just love your liner and tramp-ship story, Novice! Well done!

Here is the epitome of the super liners, and the final ship to be completed in the MARAD program under the 1936 act

Canis D. was kind enough to make the most of the drawing and let me finnish it, so all credits are due for Canis D. (mistakes are all mine)

The anchors are there, just hard to see against the dark hull. Pictures of the U.S. are like that too, very hard to see the anchors. I had this sitting on my hard drive for about a year but between a rather severe bout of depression after my mother's death last year and a large BSG drawing commission I got this summer I just haven't had the time or inspiration to finish her. Considering Novice's excellent work with US merchants in this thread I thought he would be perfect to give her the final touches and get her up here where she belongs.

Please do the "America" too! She's my fave of all the MARADs. Awesome work you two!

Yup, 35.59 knots, beating the Queen Mary by 4 knots.

Brilliant work on the Queen Mary.
Thank you all, but especially to Canis D. for the faith he had in my ability.
As for the America it will be done, but later on. I still have some unfinnished
work to complete.
