What an amazing crate :) And the genesis for all these Soviet bombers was the reversed engineered B-29; hence the relatively narow fuselage. The marriage of the massive turboprops and swept wing, gave them good speed and range; and after becoming redundant as bombers they came into their own in the recconaisance and maritime role. There aren't many aircraft I'd sell my granny to see, but this must be top of the list.
