royal Irish regiment is very nice How ever there is a MAJOR GLARING omission where are the Bravest women in the British army "THE GREENFINCHES" ! they were an integral part of the Royal Irish Home Service just as they had been an integral part of the Ulster Defence Regiment!

A little project I whipped up tonight when I had nothing to do.
Uniforms of the German Army 1870-1918
[ img ]
from left to right: Private 1870-1907/10, Private 1907/10-1914, Private "Transitional Uniform" 1915, Private 1916, Private (stormtrooper) 1917-1918
***Some of these uniforms may have minor inaccuracies. I went by the best data available to me at the time. Not to mention, towards the end of the war, when materials were scarce, there was a large amount of variation in the soldiers' dress. All uniforms include a depiction of the standard off-duty cap (feldmütze).
Soon to come (maybe tomorrow) will be the uniforms of some of the major German commanders in WWI.

As promised some more German figurines.
German Commanders from the Franco-Prussian War and WWI
[ img ]
From left to right: Kaiser Wilhelm II in his late war uniform, Paul von Hindenburg in his favorite uniform, Erich Ludendorff in a simple late war uniform, August von Mackensen in the uniform of the Death's Head Hussars, Paul von Lettow-Vorbeck in the uniform of the German Colonial Forces, and Helmuth von Moltke the Elder in the uniform of a Prussian field marshal (1871).

Maybe tomorrow: standard infantry uniforms of all the major powers of WWI.

quite nice, tsd715. Maybe I would consider to change a bit the boots. I just made a proposal.

I also drew once some german WW1 officers, but I never published it.
