A late war "Super Zeppelin" also one of the classes broadly known as "Height Climbers" designed to operate at altitudes above flak and attacking aircraft. In general for the height climber ships the structural framing was made as light as possible, engines capable to run a high altitudes were developed, upwards of 5,000 m (16,500 feet) and a ceiling of 6,400 m (21,000 feet), and the first rudimentary oxygen systems were developed for the crews.

Up next...hopefully. A revisit to the R Class and L-35 in 1915 after it was taken off combat duty. I found some images of the ship sporting that black camouflage as seen in the V Class drawing. She was used in tests for a couple cool things....

Wait for it!...

A parasite fighter (an Albatross DIII) and a "kite" torpedo. Basically an anti-shipping torpedo with a glider built around it. The Albatross is a rough little challenge in SB scale. I'm still looking for data on the kite torpedo beyond some iffy photos. That damned black camo is tedious to draw.
