Hello again!

I like her very much. I had planned to do something similar for AU purposes (exported to Brazil), but this is so good I'll hust have to steal it ;)

Greetings

Looks perfect to me. A much more ideal layout for both the catapult and the two HACS.

I have been toying with Ship crests, COA's for Euphrates. The one on the drawing now is the Bull Man of Mesopotamia with the background being the Mesopotamian Astrological wheel. I do not like it with the Astrology wheel so I have taken that out and I am now looking at just a plain background for the Bull man.

What sort of colours do my fellow Bucketeers think should be used, or would the Kings of COA's have a different take on a badge for Euphrates.

Any help greatly appreciated.

These are nice, but a cruiser had a pentad shield to the crest and not round. Also you might want to try other colors as well (I suggest you look into the crests thread)

I've changed it to the pentad as per Novices suggestion and chosen the same red background as the Enterprise COA.

:D Nigel, I think you've done a very fine and plausible badge for HMS Euphrates. The Mesopothanian golden bull (an ancient Babylonian god IIRC) is heraldic a good choice. I like the red background, but will suggest a green to symbolize the lush landscape connected to the river (green as in the badge for HMS Naiad). Anyway I'm looking forward to some real life badges now, you've got the skills ;)
(BTW the badge you've asked for is under way)

Thank you Kim.
For both the comment on Bull man and for the other badge work.
I'll update with Naiad green and see how it looks.

I've tried two different looks, one with the green, then the one on this page where the green is split by river blue then sand yellow above. Comments would be appreciated.

Leander exhausted 72,000 shp through her single trunked funnel. Euphrates would be exhausting 6 out of her 8 boilers for 80,000shp through her two forward funnels. You could gain deck space by trunking them.

I'm sorry I've overseen this post  I like your idea but prefer green on both side of the blue river belt ;)

It being pre-radar the aircraft would be necessary for scouting, especially if she is intended for deep operation. It's a very interesting design that indeed has some export possibilities. South American nations for certain, perhaps Greece or Turkey. Maybe even a commonwealth nation like New Zealand, although NZ supporting such a ship in peacetime might be hard.
