I like this very much!!

I must admit it looks cramped. I thought about doing the original Royal Sovereign with 5x2 15in but it just didn't look like it would work. Saying that, it was tried by the DNC and of course the Iron Duke series had midships turrets (not to mention similar Japanese designs). These ships were cramped but I wouldn't bother about habitability, its not a thought that concerned their Lordships to any great degree until the early 1940s. As long as there is room to sling a few hammocks you're ok!! I'm not sure you would get another knot of speed over the QEs, I'm not that is even necessary given the QEs were fast enough. It's odd how the Royal Sovereigns were slower and the 1914 programme ships got even slower! I don't think you have to stick to Canis's specs and you have some room to shuffle things.

I'm concerned there might not be enough room for Y turret's barbette and magazines that far aft. I'm also concerned the main belt doesn't even go near it, only the thinner 6in belt. A, B, X and Y turrets seem generously spaced compared to normal practice. I would be tempted to keep A turret and shuffle B forward slightly (and the superstructure as far as Q turret) and keep X turret and shuffle Y turret forward a bit.

The bows look good, its perhaps a bit 'modern' for a 1913 design (I assume these ships will replace the Rs) but the Admiralty were pioneers of hydrodynamic testing tanks with its facilities at Haslar and it was only a matter of time before better hullforms came into use. I think the ram bows were more traditional hang-ups than anything else.

I have done some changes. I moved the turrets, both fore and aft along with the entire forward superstructure forwards. Should be more space aft for the turrets and barbettes. I have made more space between the aft and fore superstructure to better accamodate the middle turret. What do you think of the turrets? I made them based on a line drawing of the Warspite. My turrets seem to not be the same as the turrets currently found on any RN ships. Perhaps this might fit in, as some classes did have different designs for the turrets.

I might juggle around the middle turret a bit and play with the turbine and boiler rooms, but without any good idea or reference at hand to see how big those actually are I think this works.

It looks much better now and I think it could work quite well.
As to 15in turrets, *meh* everyone has done at least two attempts tracing off various plans and none ever seem to match up. This one looks ok though.

I have done some progess with the drawing. I have added lifeboats and some extra rigging. I have also added shading to the superstructure and the uw hull. Other details have been added to both the hull and superstructure.

it looks like your hull shading should continue above your bilge keel, especially forward it now looks like an very weird knuckle in the hull shape.

Looking good.
I would ditch the two aftermost upper-deck 6in. In that location they block Q turret's forward arc and would get a lot of blast in the broadside. Don't think you need 20 6in anyway, seems a little heavy to me.

Is it wise to have the gun fire that far forward anyway? Things like the boats and cranes would definetely take some blast damage. Either way, I shall remove the gun. Before I finish the ship, is there anything else I should add, remove or change? This is the first british ship I`ve ever made, it cant`t be that good, eh?

No, that's it from me. It looks a nice design and you've done a good job.
