The windows aren't blue, but generally this looks pretty good for a beginner here.

Wow a very good first SB drawing, well done mate.

A superb effort for a first drawing. and now for the critique: Firstly windows, as mentioned before.
Secondly it looks that the propellers are too small IMHO (I'm no expert on the QE2).

That's a really fine effort. Especially as your first attempt in SB style. I've had a drawing in the go but it's about 40% complete. Got into a bit of difficulty with the hull and haven't been back since. I'm glad to see her in the bucket.

Couple of points. The promenade deck should be the same colour as the rest of the superstructure. The prop shaft is joined to the hull just behind the prop. Windows, as mentioned and were there also portholes on the lower hull as well? I'll have to check the sources... Fab job!

Thanks for the comments guys! Glad that you all like it. As for the coloring, windows and such, I'll go back and fix them sometime soon. I'm sure the windows are way off because I did them from memory. Right now I'm working on Britannia, the upcoming P & O cruise ship. Once it's finished, I'll go back and fix QE2.

Finally finished Britannia. I decided to draw it in the new Union Jack livery. Although, while I prefer P&O's traditional Khaki funnels and white hull, I can see the appeal of this new look.

So that's what she's going to look like...interesting. Gotta say I prefer the old colors as well.

Beautiful effort, but you may want to change the windows color to the standard SB color. Also I think the lifeboats need some more work in details. Also you need the flag changed as the British merchant ships fly the red ensign ('Red Duster'), unless the ships captain is RNR than the blue ensign is flown. The Britannia herself I'm not sure if she is to be registered in the UK itself.
Propellers of the Britannia look too small I believe.
Apart from the above an excellent effort, a very good start to SB, even if the ship herself is no beauty (in my eyes at least)
