I never use springsharp, but I suppose you can see there are things going very wrong......
for example, you have an trim of 25 degrees, 26% of average seaboat quality, and you cannot move, because you have no machinery.

That might be a problem

Hi cvbbdd,

While I think that's looking better, I'm not really able to comment on hull issues (just not got the knowledge or the experience) - however, I would point out that aft, you've got 6 quad bofors and a single 18 inch gun, due to the angles you've left yourself with your 5 inch triples - you might find that your rear aspect is quite vulnerable as a result - while I'm sure the 18 inch will hurt anything it hits, the rate of fire isn't going to be enough to put off a determined attack from outside 40mm range.

Regards,
Adam Smith

Hi cvbbdd,

I guess I should have done this a while ago, but I'll ask now ... what is your goal in posting here?

Don't get me wrong, I've put up a pretty daft design myself, but my goal was to get the design improved (and it has improved as a result of the feedback I've been given).

Is that what you're after here? Or is this more a showcase of your existing designs, take it or leave it? I ask because I'm trying to offer what advice I can that will make the ships that you're drawing more realistic, but, as Jabba's pointed out, I'm not sure that's what you're interested in.

Regards,
Adam
