heuhen,
That's truely insane! Just how deep does the snow get during a season?

Damned this draught, I want to go skiing.

Where I used to live once in North Norway, we had two front doors. the normal one we using during summer time, and that one the second floor we used during winter.

Why am I feeling the urge to draw the James Craig?

So, in the last 24 hours the main line train tracks at Dawlish Warren have had the embankment washed away by the heavy seas we are currently experiencing. The steel rails have been left suspended across a near 100-foot gash in the coastline, looking like a cross between a rope bridge and a rollercoaster! Apparantely a couple more sections of track have had this happen too.

My home town of Plymouth along with everything West of Dawlish (Proper Westcountry that is, unlike the pretenders of Dorset, Bristol and even Wiltshire!) has no rail access to the rest of the country for an estimated six weeks while repairs are carried out. Bad weather!
