Spent last night reading ALL 134 pages while the wife was watching the Grammy Awards.

Love the artwork and it got some gears grinding in my tiny mind.

Agreed, great work on the QE2 Charybdis!
It's actually QM2 but thanks anyway. :P

I wouldn't mind having a crack a QE2 but there doesn't seems to be good refs floating about.

Excellent work on the QM2! I think that is the first large modern cruise ship to be drawn on Shipbucket. My only comment would be on the white painted area on the lower bow, near the waterline. I don't think that that area is really white. Or is it some kind of shading?

Best I could find http://oceanlinerblog.files.wordpress.c ... abeths.jpg, http://www.mab-creations.ch/Maboceanbooks/6QPoster.jpg, http://www.theqe2story.com/images/QE2_2 ... poster.jpg http://farm6.staticflickr.com/5018/5563 ... 001f_o.jpg I much prefer it's later configuration my self, never cared for the original funnel.

Hi All,
I'm new here. I've been a follower of Shipbucket for a while now but never posted anything.
Anyways, I actually just completed QE2 in Shipbucket style right before I came back to the site today and saw that there seems to be interest in QE2. Forgive me if the drawing isn't in correct formatting, it's my first attempt at true Shipbucket style. I hope it's ok.

Not bad for your initial drawing! Glad to see the ship that broke Aquitania's record as the longest-serving liner finally make her appearance on the board!

She looks nice to me. I'm on my tablet so I can't really give proper critique nor do I know the real ship well enough to talk about the accuracy but she's mighty fine for a first drawing. Only problem I can tell is that the windows and portholes aren't the standard ship bucket blue. I think they look better how you've drawn them but that's unfortunately not the existing style (unless it's changed).
