It's a nice job, overall. However, your design looks more appropriate for the early 1930s than the 20s. Also, is that the conning tower behind the bridge? If so, then that's a most unfortunate placement, since, not only will the bridge structure obscure the vision from the CT, but, in case of a hit on the bridge, it'll be subject to a hail of splinters and other debris.

Good point bezobrazov, but generally conning towers were abandoned during the Great War within the Royal Navy because the officer's couldn't see out easily and lacked situational awareness, so preferred being on the open bridge. Some kind of fire-control under armour is ideal but again in RN ships the fire-tables were deep in the hull under the deck armour if possible. Conning towers by the 20s aren't really useful anymore and the weight saved can be used elsewhere.

Hood, that s very true of RN practice, but, may not be applicable to foreign ships, even vessels built in a British (commercial) yard, such as Vickers Elswick. The RHN did have inter-service relationship with the RN, but may have appreciated the use and value of the CT in a different way.

True, although conning towers seem to have gone out of fashion post-war. Anyhow, I'm not sure whether the tower on the cruiser above isn't just the support structure for the director.

No, you may keep the CT. That may surprise you, but think of this: the RHN probably had a similar experience during the Balkan Wars to the Russian one during the Russo-Japanese War, i e, a CT will protect you (although splinter damage can render it useless and inflict casualties).
I would say that, in all probability the RHN would've used a CT - even after some navies had decided to discard them (and, mind you, the RN was in a minority in abandoning the use of a CT in cruisers!). I wasn't critical of the usage of such, only its placement.
If you care to tweak your drawing some on this issue, I cannot see how it can go wrong. I really love your drawings, and I wish I had time to pick up my own Hellenic Cruiser thread again!
