MS Gil Eannes was built in 1955 to serve as a supply ship for Portuguese fishing fleet. During her career from 1955 to 1973 she was also used as passenger ship, reefer, floating hospital, mail ship, tug, icebreaker and overall has been a jack of all trades. Now she's moored at Viana do Castelo as a museum ship.
Special thanks to Redav who helped me to obtain the original ship plans.
