Hi all - To improve readability of the forum, please begin to limit all user signatures to no more than a 400x100 pixel image (that's 400px wide and 100px tall) or just a few lines of text. Where possible, make use of the "small" BBCode tags to reduce text size. As a general rule of thumb, your signature should not be vertically larger than your post body. Thanks in advance... |

Hi Colo, Do we have a compliant version of the font image lying around somewhere? Cheers, Ad |

Well, if you want, I can send you a revised font sheet, that I use with all of my drawings. I've slightly edited each letter to be more consistent and it includes all letters for both sizes and the numbers. It does not include all the extra symbols and such, but how often does one use those anyways? Also, Colo, is it okay if there are two images side by side, as I have in my signature? One for Denton and the other for Salide? Edit: Here it is. The image is 250 x 100 px, so it would fit. It could be made wider so that the other characters could fit, but that's not my call. I've also included a smaller font, that I often use on ships names. |

I don't care what you do horizontally. I'm just tired of seeing useless crap in everyone's long-ass signatures. Making the text tiny like apdsmith has done doesn't help either (in fact it's even more annoying to look at as I can't read it anymore!) Make stuff one line and delimit it with pipes or whatever. None of this is difficult stuff. Why do you need the font sheet in every single post you make? |

Okay, fair enough. As far as I know, the font sheet in APDSmith's signature is for the new people who don't quite get that there is a standard font used. By placing it in the signature, then hopefully the new people will shape up and stop using the wrong font. |

Yes but that can be done by a thread. Put a link or something. |

I second this, some of the signatures on this forum are insane. |

I have no problem with signature, but some new members have a signature pictures in colors that are very distracting. a signature should be small/short and simple... to much info, and you start to believe that it is a part of the post. |

Yes, Heuhen, short and simple just like yours: "Mad Viking Inside! Keep Distance." Short, simple, to the point, and very very accurate . |
