To give the 350 some company, here is another unbuilt Airbus plane, the A330-500, sometimes also labeled A330-100. It was a proposed eight-frame (four forward and four aft of the wing) shrink of the 330-200 that allowed for a near-13.000km range. Considered motorizations were the CF6-80, PW4000, or the Trent 500.

Certainly one of the more interesting late-war German designs. It was powered by two contra-rotating propellers located within the nine-part annular wing and landed vertically on its tail similar to the USN's XFV and XFY prototypes.

The Convair model 49 coleopter (I'd never heard that term either), entrant for the US Army AAFSS (Advanced Aerial Fire Support System) competition.
Able to transit and fight as a ground-attack aircraft, and then hover and fight as a helicopter gunship, an even land and function as a pillbox fortress, the design was not developed further.
