I have now ended the KGV crest project (I was delayed by other circumstances), and the first KGV (Dreadnought 1911-1924) got the first of these two beneath in 1919. When the other KGV was commisioned 1940 she got a new crest. The blue one.

Here a very old WIP now completed. I started with the crest for HMS Fearless month ago (actually one of my first after Albion and Bulwark) because it looks rather easy. It wasn't :? But then I decided it has to be finished, so here it is both in the destroyer version and the LPD version ;)

I've just learned that RFA Fort George (Fort II Class) was decommisioned last month  But of course if Royal Navy hasn't war ships what's the meaning of RFA to have replenishment ships :?:
But if anyone would honour and draw her, her crest is here. I've also drawn the crest for HMS Prince of Wales, the heroic battleship with a servicetime last only nearly 11 month (19 January - 10 December 1941). The crest supposed to be in use again around 2018 when the second QE carrier enter service. But as most of you knows she will be named HMS Ark Royal ;)

:D Thanks!
For your grief, that's understandable. I've seen a lot of pictures (black and white of course!) some without camouflage paint and some with. It would be nice for you to have a colour scheme like that for the German Navy (Kriegsmarine) ;)

Now I've finished my WIP for RN before 1920 for the time being (though I still have a lot WIP's RN after 1919, RFA and Hellenic Navy :? ). But here's the unofficial badge for HMS Indomitable. It have some class, and the official badge for the Illustrious Class carrier from 1941 isn't that classy ;)
