Hehe unfortunately I can't get an M1919... though I would love one. They are illegal for people without a Class III license under the National Firearms Act of 1934, which banned automatic weapons with a license and $200 tax stamp to the BATFE.

The M1895 Nagant revolver is a cool bit of history, but as a serious weapon it leaves a lot to be desired. It's very hard to reload quickly (loading gates...) and often the spent shells become stuck in the cylinder requiring tools to extract them. I once spent about five minutes reloading it at the range because of a stuck cartridge casing. I was very glad I wasn't in combat at the time!!

Hey, Colo, do you have a Tula and an Izhavsk, or two of one kind, and what are the maker dates? I want to get one, but have to wait on the funds to become available.

I don't remember off the top of my head, think both are Tulas with dates between 1937 and 1940. I'll check when I get home.

You can't beat $99 for a piece of history...

I paid $200 for the two pistols and then another $100 for something like 500 rds of ammo for them. I stashed one at our cabin in Colorado with half the ammo, and use the other one just to screw around at gun ranges. I really like shooting it next to the guys who have their $2000 tricked out 1911s...
