look in the Shipbucket archive - there's not a huge selection, but some very good ones of most of the most prominent Nazi fighters and bombers. otherwise you may just have to fish through the forum threads to find individual ones like I have done many a time
I know about the pictures already in the archive and in the forums, I was looking the small ones which I could place on a drawing of carrier so I don't have to draw a huge one

There are a lot of Axis aircraft in my downloadable shipbucket archive of sub-assemblies.

odysseus1980,

I only ever drew the US-1 because the visual differences between the US-1 and US-2 at SB scale are so minute as to be indistinguishable. If you wanna have a crack at it be my guest, but i don't really see the point :) Look forward to seeing how your AU aircraft turn out

Hi Again;

As with the previous Martin P5M Marlin, I've redrawn (from scratch) the Shinmaywa US-1 Flying Boat for the purposes of My Falkland Islands AU.

Re-colour as required for your purposes.

EDIT: Added additional DCFI colour scheme + 2x Japanese Navy/Air Force Colour Schemes

Cheers

A German built Tilt-rotor aircraft called Focke-Dornier FD 895.
I made it for my AU to have an alternative to the V-22.

Some small background info.

In the early 1980s, with its CH-46 reaching two decades of service the German Reichswehr was looking for a future replacement, which would combine the vertical lift-off capability of a helicopter with the speed of a cargo plane. As the already operational Dornier Do 31 was considered unfit to fullfill the role of supporting amphibious operations, the Ministry of Defence decided not to spent its money on an expensive upgrade of the Do 31, but to purchase or develope a new aircraft.
In 1984 the leading German aircraft manufacturer Messerschmitt, Focke-Wulf, Junkers and Dornier show interest in the program, but only Focke-Wulf and Dornier were able to submit a proposel as the combined their know-how. The first prototype of the FD-X made its maiden flight in 1991 and the first pre-production units, now named FD 895 to fit into naming scheme of the newly founded Eurocopter where FW and Dornier participate, reached Wehrtechnische Dienststelle in Rovigno in June 1996 for evaluation.
In 2003 the first production units were delivered to Heeresfliegerregiment 85 of the Marineinfanteriekommando for final operational evaluation and was declared fully operational in November 2005.
In 2006 the first FD 895SO prototype for special operations support was sent to WTD 61.

Specification:
Crew: 4 (Pilot, co-pilot, two flight engineers/crew chiefs)
Length: 21.75 m
Wingspan: 16.50 m
Empty weight: 17,600 kg
Capacity: 24 to 40 troops or 12,000 kg of internal cargo or 8,000 kg of external cargo
Max. take-off weight: 28,600 kg

I can only repeat: nice designs... :)

@Cascadia:
you might have a try at doing the FD 895 in FD-scale?
