Ill be going for Real designs again. Had a lot of work on the ship lately but i am home now.

I also had a hard time during one month in my deployment, needed to clear off some steam so i created this (WIP though).
I am thinking of making an AU of a nation speaking English and working with Financintieri on navyships.
Maybe someone can help on a good story and countrymap somewhere of a fictional nation in Europe?

She is designed to be independent, but also a taskforce leader.
Communication has to be top notch with a large commanding room and command center.

Her stats what i got now:
Weaponairy:
-1x Single 155mm gun
-2x Marlin WS 30mm
-4x Hitrole .50
-2x RAM-116 boxes
-64x VLS up front
-64x VLS in the rear
-4x Torpedo launcher
-4x Oto SCLAR-H

-1x rear launched rhib (fast deploy)
-2x hangar, 1x medium halo, 1x UAV's (also UAV helo possible)

Looks nice my questions would be,

On CG
- Do the bow thrusters make sense (155mm Mags and flow noise near sonar?)
- Only two not three Marlin (ie is the rear one not actually two if it needs to stick out both sides?)

ON FFG
- Is the rear rib bay area sufficiently wide for Bay/funnel/Bay? (or just move them forward to the gap area with walkway?)

On FFG on smaller frigates you also see rhibs both end of the funnel, fremm has them there to only a little bit more forward.

On CG. Hmm maybe theres indeed to much, thrusters and mags togheter.
However for the Sonar. Bowthrusters are not used when you use Sonar.
And on the aft there are two Marlins. The edge that sticks out is like a ''walkway'' to get around the gun. Still trying to find a more beautiful way to make that stick out platform. Not satisfied with what i have now unfortunately

The Norwegian frigates have there 8-10 meter RHIB next to the funnels on both sides

Hey Mitch, a few minor comments:
- The pilothouse on the cruiser seems a bit low, I would heighten this a deck for good lines of sight.
- There was a new marlin mounting drawn, more accurate in size to the real one. It can be found on the wiki IIRC
- would the deck level not be at the knuckle between hull and superstructure? your hatches all seem to extend below it somehow.
- The RAM launchers on the DD are facing the wrong way
- We have started to move away from the bright red for hull colours to an more realistic colour, you might want to join on that :P

Other then that, nice to see your drawings appearing again!

-Took the hull from the Italian FREMM, its brighter then the CG. Is the CG also to bright?
-Pilothouse is same height as Horizon class Destroyers and the British Daring Class
-Will fetch that Marlin drawing! Thnx
-I dont know what you mean with those hatches at the knuckle. Do you mean the ships stairs and the hatches for liferafts with slides?
-Thanks about the RAM. Always make those mistakes :)

I also had a partial CV drawn.
I am doing way to much stuff at the same time :(

re: the pilothouse: it might be the same height as that of those ships, however sightlines are defined by the hull underneath it. You have an much larger bow in front of said pilothouse, making your vision much worse (hence why this is only an issue on the CG and not on the DD you drew)

re: the hatches: yes, those, and the RHIB bay. They all seem to extend below main deck level.

As for the hull colour, most recent drawings tend to end up in a shade like http://www.shipbucket.com/drawings/1920/file
