Inspired by LEUT_East wonderful part sheet (tell me if I have used to much and should credit?) Hoods nice small RN type 24 frigate and spending to much time looking at erik_t cutaways......

The FFG 62

Feel free to critic it and tell me why it would not work....

(Some AU equipment included due to divergent time line, ie radar is three AU fighter sets and the long range SAM is active, cutaway is for general idea only)

Not bad, keep track of your air intakes and your uptakes though, I doubt this fits for the diesel and MT30 both, and your intake channel will cost a lot of volume near that boat bay :P

Modern stealthy ships are my forte but this is looking good.

Hehe, those colors look familiar.

My primary comment is that, while you have good planform alignment, it's angled very aggressively. A 1-to-2 slope is about 26 degrees, and you're going to lose a lot of volume in the superstructure. I think Zumwalt is as aggressively sloped as anything afloat, and IIRC she's aimed at more like 15 degrees.

I'm also skeptical the aft-facing phased array would have useful coverage at low elevations - I'd move that block all the way to the back of the forward deckhouse.

I like it!

Changed a few bits from the feedback,

Slopes reduced
Radars moved
Gone all Diesels to save cost and accept this isn't a CVN escort
One Helicopter and one UCAV
Gone for a 76mm as a CWIS and cut to weight , not really sure as I like the 5" for shore support and USN commonality....(that or I might try a swap the 25mm RWS for a dual use small gun/CIWS?)

My questions would be for anybody who understands modern radar or engines what would work for real systems?
