Hi everyone, the reason i'm opening this topic is because i have been modifying the original Táchira class carrier from my Republic of Venezuela AU (viewtopic.php?f=14&t=3610), among the changes was the replacement of nuclear power for convetional propulsion i also downsized the carrier slightly and tried to use existing system that are in service right now. I would like to hear some suggestion from other members specially about the internal layout of the carrier, for my AU i will retain the CATOBAR variant but i also made STOBAR and a STOVL variants of the ship. This is all part of a major overhaul of this AU based on the Orbat made by eswube, the ships on the thread will be replaced by existing ships on the market and the same will be done with most other weapons systems.

CATOBAR

STOBAR

STOVL

At first glance they all seem plausible enough. That said, do they only have the single Nettuno mounted on them?

To be honest i don't know. How many are ideal for this kind of ship?

Well, you could probably get away with two. AFAIK both the FREMMs and Horizons are outfitted with two. Port and starboard on the former and fore and aft on the latter and FWIW, I think the Cavour may also be equipped with two (one each fore and aft).

I have added the second Nettuno as Blackbuck suggested

Does anyone have any info or schematics about the internal layout of an aircraft carrier?
