I had an idea one day, found it weird... so I drew it, because why not...

Type: Armed-MLP and tanker
Hull design: heavy lift hull with long and sharp bow for better cutting trough the sea, at speed. Tunnel in aft hull.
Length: 180 meters
Beam: 25+meters (depending on version, designed and build)
Draft: 8.53 meter (submerged: max: 15.5 meters (calm sea: 16.8 meter critical) (deck depth: 3.81 meter, 5 meter at critical depth)
Power-plant: 2 jet turbines and 4 medium and 8 small diesel engines powering generators, for ship electricity and propulsion.
Propulsion: two Azi-pods aft, and one small retractable Azi-pod forward.
Speed: 18 to 20 knots, can move at 2 to 3 knots when submerged (probably not).
Electronics:
Artisan 3D radar
STIR 1.2 EO/STING (fire control)
modified I-MAST fire control (hope it work...)
Various communication equipment and Navigation equipment.

Armament:
- 1 x 5" main gun (AU-guns on drawing), can be replaced with bigger gun if needed. But most ideal would be an SAM installation.
- 2 x twin 40 mm guns (AU-guns on drawing)
- Several handheld and railing mounted guns.
Aircraft facility:
landing deck for medium helicopters.

Deck: can handle most vessels, enough space for ships like the Visby class, Skjold class or similar

something in that area, or you could take an random MLP and refit it, just without guns for artillery support... depending on how close to shore you are operating.

I think Heuhen is probably the best equipped to put these 'weird' ideas into operation and make them look good!

Heuhen, I knew it was you just from the title of the thread, no need to see your nickname on the right. You are one of the craziest (in a positive way!) users of this board, and your ships, as unusual as they might be, are always amazingly drawn. :D

some data added.

a drawing without any of here vessel on deck, will take some time since there is much going on there. but then again you can look at it as an massive scaffolding with an petrol station every few meters!
