A couple of days ago, I was going through some of my drawing folders and came across one I had done a while back. It was a cross between an AOR, with a cruiser hull, and a stern from an early 1900s ship. Originally, when I had posted it, I had foolishly called it a 'yacht of sorts.' Well, I looked at it and started to tinker with it and then I realized that it was more of a representation of myself, my personality, and my likes. So, I decided to ditch the hull and placed the superstructure on one of my favorite ships, the LST-27 Diederich from my Denton AU, and it looked perfect. I thought it looked just like me.

Here's a challenge of sorts: After I got to a stopping point, I started to wonder what other people would come up with, what other people would draw or use to represent themselves, basically asking y'all the question, "What ship would best represent your personality."

So, what ship represents your personality? It can be outlandish, it can be ridiculous, it can have as many guns or as little guns as you want, whatever purpose, whatever era, whatever size, whatever you like; whatever you are is what this ship should be. I would like to see custom ships and drawings, but if there is a ship that you feel represents yourself already out there, then so be it ;) . Draw it, describe it, post it; Let's see it!

To give you an example, here is my WIP. :)

Armament:
4x 30mm 6-barrel Gatling CIWS
2x .50 caliber machine gun

Electronics:
AN/SPS-2 Very Long Range Air-Search Radar

Symbology of the Ship:

-The size of the ship will allow me to navigate most waterways of the world, including the St. Lawrence Seaway (small enough to fit in tight spaces, large enough to be versatile).
-The SPS-2 radar is a Very Long Range Air-search radar, primarily because I want to know about everything that's going on in my area (paranoia maybe?).
-The Landing ship design allows me to stop close to any land mass and launch any array of vehicles I like from the large cargo areas(I'm a big motorhead).
-The 4 CIWS are for defense from missiles, aircraft and surface targets (lightly armed and prepared for anything).
-The name Sea-Lion comes from heraldry (a lion with a fish tail. The Leo is my Zodiac and Lion my favorite animal).
-The ship's interior space is mainly filled with vehicles in the cargo area, but some areas have been converted into science-labs (I like the idea of sharing my ship and facilities for scientific personnel, because I want to know everything).
-The sleek style of the front superstructure is a homage to more 1950s retro-future, sleek designs.
-The ship is reinforced for ice operations, so that I can go most anywhere where ice is (anywhere, anytime, with everything I need).

... That about covers it.

Now, I want to see what y'all come up with (for those who are interested). Just a reminder, this is about a ship that represents you, not your ideal liveaboard (although it could also represent your dream ship, if money and International law were not a constraint ;) ).

For those of you that think this is just a silly challenge, please, no snide comments. Just read and move on.

I believe this can be a representation of me. Big, good punch, thick armor because I am big. Not so good on endurance though.
