Here is the last Light Cruiser Design of the Royal Hellenic Navy. "Lailaps" Class The plans were approved on abt 1944 and construction start immediatelly. 4 ships were planed to build RHNS Lailaps, Kategis, Thuela & Tyfon but only 2 were completed (Lailaps & Kategis) till 1948 and the rest were cancelled. to be follow conversion to missile cruiser. |

Interesting design, although as drawing it looks bit "bare" (railings, details etc.) |

Nice work, but haddent torpedos essentially disappeared from cruisers by then? Also, are those heavy AA MGs Bofors guns? |

The Swedish Tre Kronors, laid down in 1942 and '44(I think) and commissioned in 1947 mounted torpedo tubes for their entire career(though it was an admittedly very short one). A very fine ship though. Looking forward to seeing the completed drawing. |
