Not sure what I'm going to do with it quite yet, but I've always wanted to give the class a makeover, so here's my version with reworked electronics and armament. I realize the STIR 240 is a bit of overkill, but it's there for aesthetic reasons, as replacing the big British directors with the smaller STIR 180s kinda left them looking off. Special thanks to Acelancelot for the frontal drawings of the STIRs, which should soon be making their way to a parts sheet near you. Compared to the original Nakoda Ragam class, my version has been lengthened about one rail length to properly illustrate the NSM launchers. The underwater hull is completely AU territory. Personally, I think these could be a good addition to any smaller early 2000s navy, and feel free to use as needed, or do your own. Additional thanks to whoever did the AU parts sheet I used for the makeover-really helped a lot with smaller assorted bits and bobs--especially those awful generic torpedo tubes we use. |

Looks nice, though I wouldn't like to be in the helicopter sitting on a pad in the moment that RAM starts launching missiles. |

a few comments: - you have used the STIR that is completely rotated 90 degrees. I think there is only one STIR, so you would need the one which is facing forward standard and is rotated towards the viewer. - the STIR really looks huge here. could you show how it would look with an 180? - the mooring holes under the gun look like they could not be accessed - the funnel looks kinda huge - I would suggest turning the RAM drawing around - is the RAM mounted on an sponson? also, I think that sponson is a bit small, looking at the 'box' underneath the Mk 49 launcher in the belowdeck parts. - may I suggest trying something out with fielding an hangar on board? the SIGMA's of about the same size manage to do so. |

The RAM launcher offered a number of unhappy problems, as it wasn't part of the original design, so had to be shoehorned in--I offset it to the side, to reduce the interference with flight operations, though it's a make-do compromise at best. As a point defense missile, if the launcher is firing, the helo is likely the least of anyone's worries! The Funnel is huge, but it is that way on the actual class. I'll post a version with the STIR 180, though the 240 is still not as bulky as those Seawolf Directors the actual class were built with. I don't know much about the mooring holes; they were part of MConrad's original drawing. The entire launcher isn't mounted on a sponson, only a part of it near the edge, though I'll check the below decks part when I get time--mostly that bit is there to (hopefully) illustrate it's offset to one side, rather than centered. |

Okay, here it is with the 180s by way of size comparison, with the 240 and the seawolf directors the original would have had. |

note that your 180 must be rotated 180 degrees, right now the part of the foot that faces aft is facing forward. the 240 is aligned correctly though. you have also changed nothing on the railings next to the gun? those show that the main deck over there is at that level, while the mooring holes show it is lower. note that the british directors are huge compared to both the size of the ship and the affiliated system. the 180's fit quite nicely in my opinion. |

Hopefully, DB should have updated the above by now. Looking at the holes, apparently, they should be in a row vs staggered like in the original drawing |
