This is a design that's been in my head for a long time, basically a battleship from an alternate setting, where Dreadnoughts either weren't developed, or came into use rather later, extending the predread era.

Main armament is 6 x 14", 6 x 9.2", and 16 x 6", plus there will be some smaller stuff stuck in there. Still very much a WIP, but wanted to see what the board members thought of it.

If it's close enough to cast a shadow, I think the flying house wins initiative.

Bronies are like the Forsworn. Everyone agrees that they are a problem but nobody wants to expend the energy rooting them out.

I would think two-rifle 9.2 turrets superfiring and two more such turrets on the wings would help in the "spirit" of what you're trying to do.

It might just be me, but the foremast looks a bit top heavy, especially for where it is located?

I originally considered twins, but my rationale was if the technology to build 14" triple turrets was in place, why not do the same for the 9.2" guns, get the same number of barrels per broadside, and avoid the extra weight of the two wing turrets, which would be in the area of the ship most likely to get hit to begin with.

I did at one point consider triple wing turrets, but I held off for reasons of weight, and required beam. The other issue, which I haven't addressed is that of torpedo defense which I'm debating adding guns to deal with, as well as an antiaircraft battery, though I'm still deciding the level of sophistication of such craft.

I figured I could get away with a bit of excess here and there, given the probable beam. I'll double check Latorre, and do a comparison.

*Edited* I checked, and it's worse than Latorre, but not drastically so. That said, I do have some plans to redesign some of that area of the ship, so it might get lowered somewhat when I do.

I like her, although the mixed Main Battery definitely makes her pre-Dreadnought. I see the sixteen 6-inch guns in casemates but it appears there are two more in deck mounts?

Very much like to see this when she's done, a SS report as well...

Nice drawing. In a world where battleships develop somewhat differently, your use of triple turrets is quite plausible.
One quibble though; I am not sure of the sturdiness of your heavy foremast. Its main leg looks to be supported by a rather light duty sponson when it should extend to the ship's keel or at least to her main deck as per a real ship.
