Here are them all! I use IMG tag on those that are new. All of them have received an minor update.

Nansen as today in the Real World. as close I can get it. I have to experiment a bit more with the ship color, it should be a bit more grey and lighter.

Standard Nansen with added Equipment that she can or will have in future.

long Nansen (60 cm longer).

And a little fun, see if you see where I got my inspiration from:

I really like the MK 4 with the extra walls, etc. I imagine UNREP could be a bit of a challenge in Norwegen waters...Is that a Thales decoy launcher in "B" position? It looks a lot like the ASLEAN/Thales launcher to be used in the Turkish Navy.

The UNREP isn't that difficult. we in Norway have long experience in UNREP on many different ships. all from our offshore supply ships, that often do UNREP, to all the Norwegian Navy's coast guard ships that do it in any weather (the Norwegian Coast guard says that no weather is bad weather). I have also given it extra space. but an another thing with this walls is that it protect the crew that doing the UNREP, a lot better than what they do on the real thing.

If you are talking about that one aft of the VLS. That is the weapon that are only marked as Cheep ASW weapon, on the real frigate (as prepared for not equipped with)

I dont know whats below the helo deck but you might consider a ''flexible deck'' in there or just a container lift in the deck for 1 or 2 20 feet containers. Its just a hatch in the flight deck and a lift to lower the container on the storage deck and back on flight deck.

I think this design would work with a ''flexible ship concept''

Why is the 127mm pointing starboard on the top down views? ;)

Otherwise, very concise and excellent work Heuhen

There's no such thing as "nothing left to draw" If you can down 10 pints and draw, you're doing alright by my standards

Nansen have towed array and Depth charges there, what else is there, I don't know.

for a very simple reason, I would have to put the gun 1px offcent... The gun has a center line that is one px thick, I drew Hansen with two px centerline due to the 76mm. And at the same time had correct beam!

but thanks

when I was 16 I was at my step-dad work, and saw the Norwegian company Noreskort suggestion for Norwegian frigate. I havn't managed to find the drawing, and my step-dad is retaire from the Navy, so he doesn't have that clearance..., but I have seen somewhere in an another forum where MConrads had it posted, but the picture was deleted...

But I draw to draw the ship as how I remember it, and adding a little "2+2" aka, the Thales version of the Nansen class frigate (Found in the never wear folder, drawn by ace..), the french frigate la flayette class (That frigate was the inspiration Norway used for there requirements!) and a bit of Nansen. I come to this base line:

Now I need suggestion on what she could have as radar's (Note when I saw the drawing first time, it had a lot of radar dooms... perhaps replacing the real thing as an fast solution) and all other things.

RE: Radars, at a guess they would have used two illuminators, one forward and one aft, a medium range 3D radar on the top of the foremast and a long range 2D radar on the aft mast.

The domes may have been to provide weather protection. If the Noreskort consortium wasn't tied into any Big Name, then they would probably have been going for relatively low risk Off The Shelf equipment like SMART-S etc.
