Okay! Latest version, incorporating many of the latest batch of suggestions. I've also reworked the engine rooms for different turbines, which I've censored as the parts haven't been finished yet! :P

If you are only going to refuel it once in 30+ years does it matter if you need to do a little cutting ? (as long as its not to complicated)
The thinking is that there will always be maintenance work that needs doing...or perhaps there will be problems with a reactor.

Could you not put say the GTG (in a raft/box) on top of the reactor and crane it off in one piece when it comes time to refuel ?
There is space (assuming I cut through the decks) but I'm still concerned about the exhaust arrangements.

I've finally managed an exterior rendering of the latest design:

With the possible exception of the visible armament (which does rather compromise the stealthy design), I'm not unhappy with the way this is looking... ;)

A few more Q,

1) Would the exhausts work ? or just be massive IR targets ? (ie should they be on top deck or blended with water ?)

2) Should you make a stealth RAM (and gun) ? (or go for VLS RAM ?)

Apart from that I do like the latest one,
JSB

You're not blending the exhausts at the waterline with a GT, that's a baaad idea. The long run you've got currently gives you plenty of space to add water filters and other signature reduction measures.

RAM is going to possess a negligible RCS (remember, you're never going to make a ship invisible to radar) but a thing you could try would be to shield the mounts abaft the superstructure. It would mean having four mounts but they'd stick out less. Failing that, coat the things in RAM!
