I know, it just that I don't think that particular part of the design scheme matches the rest. But off course, it's your design, and if there is a precedent you can mention, I will respect that. I just wanted to make note of it. :)

I just want the guns to be hit head-on without being taken out, even though guns are practically never hit on the gun face. Reducing it would give an additional strength point that I can put somewhere that would take it below 1.0 so I`ll leave it as it is. The ship uses the all-or-nothing like the Nevada. This is because the all-or-nothing was superior to the old armor layout and did not need modifications after Jutland like European designs.

That's cool. I've never seen a battleship with 6 turrets.

And the German Nassau, Helgoland, or the Brazilian Minas Geraes (or Gerais, i found both spellings). although they had not all the guns fited on centerline.
There were quite many of them, at least in the early days (Dreadnoughts-speaking)
