those are 6"/50 not 5", and which four stackers carried 5" i'm intrigued for I have never heard about such a combination I am very interrsted

DD 231-235. Also, DD 208 and DD 209 had 4 twin mount 4" guns.

The Clemson class was fitted for 5/51s. Only five were so equipped according to Friedman; Brooks, DD-232 is pictured with three 5/51s on Page 45 of the revised edition of Friedman. They only mounted three main guns although they were fitted for four

The 5"/25 wasn't in service until 1926. I wouldn't be able to mount them on this class until later.

In 1922 the first four ships of the Dallas Class destroyers emerged from their first formal refit. They were given geared turbines and were fitted with 21" torpedo tubes. Their bridges were also fully enclosed.



Their main armament is still anemic, but they will still have a longer service life than the Beaumont Class.

Very, very nice, i like your AU Redhorse, you have definetly the touch to design good loking ships, i like them all; also it seems whe've reached that fateful year, the Washington Naval Treaty lies beyond the corner and i can't wait to see how Texas navy will develop (i smell some CA and refits for your two battleships).

BB1987 - I'd say that Texas has bit too small navy to be a signatory of Washington Naval Treaty, so I guess that it's influence would be rather very indirect one.
Anyway, like You I'm looking forward to see further updates here.
