Any particular reason it's the same colour as the Merlin? D: A splinter pattern combining a few shades of both sand and water would probably be more in keeping wouldn't you say?

hm! Originally I drew the hull with sand color, but I can make a change in that area. but how should I color her, blue-gray hull and the superstructure in sand color or ...

The idea was that she is an African mission on the coast and has been colored for that. but ...

About the Marlan-class: was it dispatched under actual EU-command, or as a UN-vessel? If under EU, I'd suggest you paint the EU-logo on the sides (look how I did the Jacob Bagge-class!). Of course I welcome having your ship under 'my' command, as it is excercised from the HMS Jacob Hägg! (Vice-Adm. Jan-Erik Thornhjelm) ;) 8-) :lol:

There's a couple of ships in the class so I will say that one of them works for the EU while the other works for the UN.

Was launched in the Berger & Mar shipyards in 1958. over 5 year period were the built 8 of them. In 1963 one of them was torpedoed several times and sank after the crew had been fighting for 24 hours to keep her afloat. they lost over 800 lives that day. that submarine that sank her were chased for days by five of the escort destroyers. And in Caledonia's capital was the raised a monument for her. the result of who sank her was never confirmed, but they had their suspicions about who it was, but they wanted not come out with it in public when they alredy had a difficult relationship with the Soviet Union.

in 1978, the remaining 7 was upgraded and given a new superstructure, which would be able to carry the new radar. New interior and new electronics, and computers in the tactical room were upgraded on 2 of them in 1997, the other five were placed in reserve.
