I haven't actually created a new forum thread in quite a while. But anyway welcome to this little side Project I've decided to put together today, this project is primarily a small taster for a much larger AU that I'm still currently putting together. And as you can guess by the name of this thread, the drawing that will be featured here are of primarily the battleship variety, however some other capital related ships might make an appearance depending on how I feel, anyway without further ado I present the battle boats!

Tacenza Class

The Tacenza class was a class of 3 battleships constructed towards the end of the 1830s, they were designed primarily to counter Shausal Republic's Princess Charlotte class fast battleships, which upon their commissioning in 1832, completely outclassed any current Venezia capital ship of the time. As such the designs that would eventually lead to the Tacenza class, place a heavy emphasis on being able to counter this new breed of small but deceptively powerful battleships.

The Tacenza class main Armament consisted of 9 Model 5* 14"/50 guns, and despite their caliber being smaller than contemporary battleships of the time, the Model 5* was capable of punching through even the thickest battleship armour of the time, as a result of the super heavy shells that the gun was designed around. The secondary armament consisted of 8 twin Model 20 5"/50 guns, these weapons also had a dual purpose capacity, giving the class a very powerful heavy anti-aircraft broadside. The main anti aircraft guns of the ship however were the slightly outdated but still reliable 0.9" triple barrelled anti aircraft cannons, enclosed in special armored mounts to protect the gun crew from potential blast effects and strafing enemy aircraft.

very nice ship with fine lines and details. Very esthetically. Like it much, especially the conning tower is very interesting and looks quite modern, as the whole ship does. Very nice!

Admiral Eliana Class

The Admiral Eliana class dreadnoughts was a class of super Dreadnought battleships constructed in the late 1810s, and was the was the Dusceasia Collectivist Unions' first attempt at building a so-called super Dreadnought-type battleship.
The Admiral Eliana class was in essence a compromise design and somewhat of a strange ship for the 1810s featuring many modern features that were not found on many other battleships of the time but also paradoxically also featuring many design aspects that were quite outdated by the 1810s.

One of the biggest and newest features compared to its predecessors, and one that made it almost revolutionary compared to other ships of the contemporary, was the full implementation of a triple gun turret, these 14-inch weapons and their electrically powered turrets were for their time the most potent naval guns ever fitted to a warship. However one of the many outdated features brought over from proceeding classes of Battleship was the ram-style bow and full casement battery, as well as the lack of a substantial superstructure and rear mast, giving the class a relatively unusual profile for their time.

Haris Dellatos Class

The Haris Dellatos Class was the penultimate class of Dreadnought that was built in the run-up to the Great War. the class was out of the Dusceasia Admiralty's need for a new modern battleship, able to compete with existing dreadnoughts from other nations. However, the development of the Haris Dellatos Class was extremely troubled with the class going through multiple revisions before the final design was eventually accepted by the Navy.

However, despite their somewhat ridiculous size and shortcomings in design, the Haris Dellatos would prove themselves to be very capable battleships, both ships PTE Haris Dellatos and PTE Elle Logouli would serve throughout the entirety of the Great War, partaking in many of the notable battles of the conflict and PTE Elle Logouli would even see some limited service in the post-war environment.

Admiral Eliana Class, T-34 PTE Admiral Anthoti 1835 refit

In the latter half of the 1830s, the Dusceasia admiralty in combination with the great leader Alexander, decided that instead of scrapping the old and antiquated members of the Admiral Eliana Class. instead each class member would receive an extensive and heavy rebuild, to bring them in line with the current standards that Dusceasia Navy required.

This rebuild entailed the complete replacement of all of the class members' machinery, and the replacement of the original tripod superstructure with a much more modern and up-to-date one, which was intended to support much newer and better rangefinding equipment. all of the casement-mounted 5-in guns would be replaced with newer and dual-purpose 5-in guns in twin turrets, which was combined with 8 quad-mount 1.1-inch anti-aircraft guns giving the class a very powerful anti-aircraft battery for the time.

Operation Full Moon - 22nd of October 1839 - 25th October 1893

Operation Full Moon was a large-scale escort mission, undertaken by considerable elements of the Dusceasia and Staewana. this escort mission was done to deliver vital military intelligence and much-needed supplies to the main battlefronts on the eastern continent, however due to intelligent and code-breaking efforts by the aligned powers. considerable elements of the first and second Saderan Fleets and smaller elements from the Shausal Fleet would be dispatched to intercept this substantial enemy fleet movement.

The battle would be a large and drawn-out affair lasting from the 22nd of October to the 25th of October, with both sides encouraging serious casualties both in ships and manpower, and Operation Full Moon would be classified as a complete technical and logistical disaster on the part of the Coalition, due to the military intelligence and supplies need it desperately for the eastern battlefront never.

will add more about this later
