Wow! What year is that photo from? I've been looking all over for a photo of New Mexico with declination marks on the 2cd and 3rd turrets.

Thanks.

...and you forgot the motor pinnace on top of the steam cutter.

I also believe the width of the pilot house section of the upper bridge structure ought to be somewhat narrower (The part with only two side windows!). You have shown an entire row of windows abaft this, where, in the second image provided, seem to strongly indicate a door.

The navigation lights at the tip of the upper bridge wings are missing!

Edit: It has been brought to my attention that the two pictures are not contemporaneous with one other. The upper is a later image ( I think ca. 1923/25?) the lower is more contemporary with David's drawing, so keep that in mind! - However, now we might expect two versions of that ship!

Here is the virsion sparked by Mike's upper photo--I did not adjust the two aft AA guns yet.

Looks splendid...except that the motor pinnace appears to be on skids above the steam cutters! (So, might have to fold the funnel on the steam cutter!)

Also, put on the canvas coverings on the searchlight platforms and on top of the upper bridge with the director sticking up. There should be a director on the platform on turret 3.

I wasn't exactly sure where to place it in relation to the existing boat soas not to completely occult it.

Isn't that what's there?
