A torpedo gunboat with one funnel is Temerario or Galicia?

It's the name of the class.

If you read the text in the drawing it stand:

Temerario Class
And
Galicia class

Just like Ticonderoga class or Iowa class or Skjold Class or Frem Class

It's the name of the class of boats not the boat type

Any boat can have 1 funnel or a 1000 funnels...

It's the same ship or two different?

Sorry, it's a mistake. The first ship is the Temerario (first unit of the class) and the second the Galicia (the last).

The Temerario (lead ship of her class)



The Galicia, last unit (then ARV Bolivar).

Castor torpedo boat (1883)

The ugly ship Castor was the first torpedo boat of the Armada Española (Spanish Navy). Was built in France as "bote porta-torpedos número 1" in 1879 (was renamed "Castor" in 1883) for comparision with her half-twin Polux, built in England. Assigned at the Mahon naval base, was used for experimentation and sold in 1900.

Retamosa class torpedo boat Retamosa (1885)

In the 19th century, due at the poor state of the Spanish economy, the Armada Española acquired short series or unic ships, such the Retamosa, built in England, lead of her class of three ships. Named as Julian de Retamosa, liutenant general and chief engineer, was commisioned in 1886. In 1898 was assigned to Cartagena defences. Was retired and sold in 1900.

Retamosa class (subclass Ordóñez) Acevedo (1885)

The program of 1884 included four torpedo boats to purchase in foreign shipyards: one in France (the Barceló) and three in England: the Retamosa by Yarrow and the Acevedo and Ordóñez by Thornycroft; the latter were somewhat larger and had differences in distribution. Originally they did not have masts but they were incorporated to carry sails, since the use of machinery was overwhelming in its cramped interior.

In 1898 the Acevedo was under reconstruction and not participate in the war with USA. In 1905 it was renamed Torpedero Número 13, and in 1912, Torpedero Número 44. In 1914 it was discharged.
