Please consider a 1986 time frame Coral Sea as well. She was the ship that relieved us in the Med in 1990 as well as being the first Aircraft Carrier I ever saw in my life on a field trip to NAS Alameda in 1979.
That is a beautiful drawing. Just as a side note, MS-21 did not exist in 1939. To use that paint measure the ship would have to be overall Navy Blue (MS-21) after the summer of 1942. From very late 1941 to early 1942 the Navy was using a Sea Blue scheme called MS-11. Didn't last long due to the pain...
